My name is Daan Bruin, I'm an independent entrepreneur & all around creative.
My fascinations are film, fashion, music, art and people. My biggest passion is using the things I love to evolve ideas into stories.
I like to tell stories through innovative experiences. My goal is to create experiences that build bridges between companies, individuals, values and connects us to a future that is focused on honesty and cooperation.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
I'm a concept creator and creative director. I've invested turning different creative outlets into multiple expertises. I mainly showcase my work through social media marketing, nightlife events and branding.
I like to blend various skills into a cohesive body of work. Whether it's video, events, design, promotion or merging them all together: Mixing media throughout concept creation and it's presentation.
My aim is at the power of perspective and what it can mean to the individual experience. To not influence behavior, but to add value by challenging the creative process and how to experience them. Re-shifting the focus of marketing and branding from a tool to control to one that sets you free.
When learning new skills I keep in mind that everything must help my expertise in creative direction and concept creation. By doing this I've learned to always focus on the reason behind and intrinsic value of a project, product, service or experience.

Concepts & Creative Direction

Event Organiser
I've been organising events since 2019. I started with expanding Panchi by adding a monthly event in Dordrecht to their roster. After covid I recieved co-ownership of Popular Concepts, consisting of events like Yardbird & Confetti. Being responsible for the creative direction & marketing. Social Media Management & Internships
I help other brands and the ones I own evolve a strong audience through social media. I also guide interns into finding their right position in the world of small business and freelancing. Click here to read about my interns and my experience guiding them.
Video Editing
I have been filming and editing videos since I was young. Since 2018 I've been freelancing as videographer and mainly as a video editor. I edit social media videos on a daily basis where I combine my graphic design and editing skills with my love for music and film.

Graphic Designer
My logo was made in 2014 and was the first design I made on Adobe Illustrator. I've since used AI as my main tool for creativity and work. I use graphic design at every company I work. Having a solid foundation in design helps me visualise my ideas and enhance my visuals with more detail and clarity.
